Who We Are?


NOON COMMUNITY WELFARE ORGANIZATION is a non-governmental Charity organization established on December 24, 2021 as E.C, and was officially registered and recognized by the Authority of Civil Society organizations of Ethiopia with Reg. No. 5962. It is a national and Nonprofit Organization that envisaged to help, subsidizing, empowering and capacitating societies who are marginalized, impoverished and dislocated due to artificial or natural disaster. Is also a local, non-profit, that seeks to provide comprehensive care for orphaned and vulnerable children, along with community capacity enhancement so as to minimize the vulnerability of orphaned children in Ethiopia.

What makes us distinct?

Noon ommunity perform savings by opening bank saving account for every individual orphan. The support reaches to each orphan without any interference. We help the orphan to become self-reliant and active citizen. Our focus is on three basic issues; livelihood support provision, education and economic empowerment.

Oromia Regions

  • NCW implemented school capacity building projects in various districts. School capacity building materials like students’ desks, library chairs, tables, lockers and shelves, desk top computers, duplication and photocopy machines supports were provided for various schools in Oromia Regions.
  • In food assistance program, NCW provided different supports (Goats, carts and milk cows) which equal to 1690,920 (one million six hundred ninety thousands and nine hundreds twenty Birr) budget for 150 internally displaced people (Households) who have sheltered in Bishan Guracha town.
  • Noon Community Welfare implemented house construction project to shelter the displaced people where they settled. For instance, eighteen (18) houses were constructed with a total budget of 1,913,324 in Batu town in 2018/19 and transferred to 18 internally displaced people.
  • NCW with organizations- as a means to conduct sustainable interventions

According to various evidences, it is clear that the beekeeping sub-sector can contribute to the national economy in general and to the household’s income improvement and poverty alleviation in particular. NCW distributed modern beehives to the poor families in Hulbareg district of the siltie zoneto help them improve their family incomes.To capacitate them, the organization provided trainings for the beneficiaries before distributing the beehives.
